The Primary aim of Phoenix Children’s Home is to provide “a warm and homely environment” so that all children and young people within our care will be able to feel that they are valued, secure, and respected. We believe that every child and young person is important and that they should be treated as individuals and are entitled to respect, courtesy and full recognition of their rights.
Phoenix Children’s Home operates a caring, nurturing home with clearly defined expectations and boundaries, responsive to the young person’s needs.
Phoenix children’s Home aims to provide a positive residential experience that recognises the differing individual needs of children and young people.
The purpose is to create real opportunities for children/young people enabling them to change and take control of their lives. In so doing it is intended that children / young people will develop confidence, competence, self-esteem and self respect which will support them in gaining the skills to survive and succeed in life and the world beyond residential care.
